We've included our matchday guide below which is designed to help you make the most out of your visit to St Albans City FC, providing helpful guidance, information, and tips to ensure that you are prepared in the best possible way to watch your side every time you visit our stadium.

Walk

The stadium is within walking distance of many of the popular sites across the historical city of St Albans, including the Abbey Cathedral, the Clockhouse, Verulamium Park, the Charter market (Saturday's and Wednesday's), and St Albans Museum.

The Stadium is also only a 5-minute walk from the City station and bus terminal.

Rail

St Albans City station is just 20 minutes away from London’s St Pancras International Station on the Thameslink train line. The stadium is just 5-minutes walk from the station.

St Albans Abbey station links St Albans with Watford Junction via the Abbey Line for National Rail connections to London Euston, the West Midlands and the North. The Abbey station is a 30-minute walk from the stadium.

Bus

St Albans City Centre is well connected on the local bus network with services from North London, Welwyn Garden City, Hatfield, Luton and Watford, as well as routes to the city’s suburbs.

The stadium is a 5-minute walk from the main bus terminal at the City staion.

Drive

Close to the M1 (junction 6), A1(M) and M25 (junctions 21A and 22), St Albans is easily accessible to drivers.

Parking is available on local streets but please check parking restrictions and respect our neighbours by not blocking driveways. St Albans City station is a 5-minute walk away which has a large car park.

We encourage visitors to travel to St Albans by public transport wherever possible to reduce congestion and emissions.

Admission prices for the 2023/2024 season are available here.

Matchday tickets, hospitality, season tickets, and club memberships can be obtained from this site. Pre-purchase of tickets is recommended. Please note that the turnstiles only accept card payments (no cash please).

Concession prices are available to the following groups:

  • Seniors aged 65 and over
  • Unemployed (JSA recipients)
  • Personal Independence Payments (PIP) recipients
  • NHS and Blue Light Services staff members
  • Serving Members of the Armed Forces
  • Students in full-time education (aged over 23)

The stadium is situated in Clarence Park and is easily accessible by bus or by train. The stadium is only a short walk from the St Albans City railway station and bus terminal. Turn left out of St Albans City station into Station Way and cross Hatfield Road into Clarence Park. Our turnstiles are situated at York Road (///flops.crowd.matter), Hatfield Road (///trial.count.eagles), and Clarence Road (///popped.trains.quick).

Yes. The club shop stocks our full range of replica shirts, leisurewear, and branded accessories, and is located at the York Road end of the main stand (///home.digits.pirate) next to the 1908 Bar. The shop is open on first-team matchdays. The shop is usually open from 1 hour before kick-off to shortly after the full-time whistle.

Parking is available around the ground on local streets but please check parking restrictions and respect our neighbours by not blocking driveways. St Albans City station is a 5-minute walk away which has a large car park costing £3.00 on Saturdays.

We recommend that you pre-purchase tickets using our online store. You can also purchase tickets at the York RoadHatfield Road (this turnstile will be open for most games), and Clarence Park turnstiles. We accept all major credit and debit cards (cash payments are not accepted).

The clubhouse (The Saints Bar) is open to all supporters and serves Mad Squirrel’s $umo American Pale Ale, Pulp Fiction (cider), Hopfest Pale Ale (Gluten Free), and Shamrock Nitro (Irish Stout) on tap as well as a variety of wines, bottled drinks, spirits, soft drinks, and bar snacks. The clubhouse also has a great selection of coffees and other hot drinks available to purchase.

The clubhouse also has multiple TV screens which will often be showing live sport on TNT Sport (what3words: ///cats.avoid.obey).

The 1908 and Satellites** pitchside bars serve a selection of real ale, craft beers, cider, and lager on tap from local brewers, Mad Squirrel.

The Parkside and Clarence Park bars serve a wider variety of canned Mad Squirrel brews (£4.50 each or 4 for £16).

All bars and the clubhouse are cashless – card payments only. The pitchside bars are also not open when hosting Premier League and EFL fixtures (including Tottenham Hotspur Under 21s)

Two food outlets serve beef, lamb, chicken, and vegan burgers and wraps, as well as chips, and hot and cold drinks.

Our primary hospitality provider, Verdis, is a charming Italian kitchen that offers a warm welcome and delicious pre-match experience for all our valued guests and VIPs.

Nestled in the corner of Clarence Park, Verdis will treat our guests to a delectable two-course meal from their traditional Italian menu, complemented by a choice of house wine, lager, soft drink, or coffee.

During this dining experience, guests will also receive a matchday programme to flick through and enjoy, setting the perfect scene for the upcoming game. Our host will then escort them across the park to the stadium, ensuring a seamless transition to the match.

No. We are a dog-friendly stadium but no need to get a ticket for your canine companion!

Most league games are not segregated although certain cup games will be. If a game requires segregation, details will be available well in advance on this website.

Please note: The exterior gates to Clarence Park are controlled by park wardens and locked at dusk. If you have parked in the St Albans City station car park, you may be unable to exit the park using the Hatfield Road gate, as it could be locked by the time the game ends. You should then exit using the main gate to Clarence Park, along the vehicle driveway. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Supporters in wheelchairs, or with mobility issues, should enter the stadium via either the York Road (///flops.crowd.matter) or Clarence Park (///popped.trains.quick) entrances, where side gates can be opened to assist your access to the ground. We have wheelchair-accessible viewing areas at the York Road end of the main stand (in front of the club shop and 1908 bar), in the Main stand, at the Hatfield Road end (next to the Satellites** bar, and the newly rebuilt Clarence Park entrance. An accessible toilet is also located behind the food concession close to the York Road entrance to the ground.

Yes! There are four covered areas of the ground. The main stand, covered terrace (East Stand) as well as the areas behind each goal.

Clarence Park provides four bars within the ground – three at pitchside and the Saints bar (clubhouse) at the rear of the main stand. Prices in our bars are very competitive for the local area.

We’ve collated our favourite spots for pre- and post-match drinks across the city – as yellow and blue routes. The yellow route (the shorter route) encompasses three pubs along the Hatfield Road whilst the blue route takes you to the heart of the city and you can use the yellow route to complete the journey to the stadium!
